More On the Eid

We celebrate the Eid almost everyday since the first day.  I planned with Mami to have an open house on the second day of the Eid.

On the morning of the second day, I went out to buy Mak Tok's birthday cake.  She's 73 this year.

Then, friends started coming.
Aunty Mun was among the first to arrive.

Zoey was happy because Nurina and Dania came too.
They were followed by Aunty Sri and Uncle Zul but I don't have their picture.

After that my cousin, Rodzi and his family arrived.  Tok Wan was happy.

Auntu Khor and Sally arrived next.

This was Aunty Aasyaih - and her 8 (out of 10) children! They were all very independent.

Zoey was too tired to watch TV or to play the fireworks.

On the third day, my cousin, Sofian and his wife came.

After they left, we went to Aunty Ann's house.  Aunty Sri and Uncle Zul were already there.

Children will always find something interesting at her house.

She's busy preparing her famous cuppa!

Ask them silly questions and they'll try their best to answer them. :D :D :D

There will always be someone to entertain the children.

Children learn the art of playing together at her house. And they always behave!

Finding a common ground.

And still found time to entertain us in the kitchen.

Maybe Aunty Mun should've serenaded Aunty Sally instead.
She doesn't drink kopi+teh. Hahaha...

And just a few of us here.  The others were still busy eating and bloating with coffee.

I love this group of friends for being who they really are.  We don't have to pretend to be someone we're not.  Sincerity can bring the relationship to another level.  Love you guys!

Happy Hari Raya and may God bless us all!  Till another get together!
