So, this was in Pantai Cahaya Bulan, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
This was really different from what I expected. I expected the same stretch of sandy beach like the ones in Terengganu. But what we found was totally the opposite. This beach was all about boulders, albeit small patches of sands here and there.
People had to climb the boulders - not an easy climb especially when we're not expecting it and thus ill-prepared for it - to look at the sea.
The sea was rough. I guess that's why they put boulders along the beach to prevent from erosion. No one was seen swimming. On this side of the beach, there were loads of eating stalls, mostly serving the same kinds of food which I think may have tasted more or less the same.
There wasn't enough room for proper standing.
But nothing could stop you from your favourite activity.
And on to the next position.
Asha was actually getting into her character that day - a water bender - and it was amusing. She couldn't be bothered with the many tourists watching her on this side and I just played along with her. Well, nobody knew us there. So, why bother at all with what people think. Enjoy!
Another round of water-bending action.
And another round.
It was amusing, really, because she was 'bending' the sea water. Therefore, the water would 'follow' her every bending instruction. So, I guess she's a very successful water-bender.
What happened to Nina here?
More water-bending action. Hahaha...
Time to have lunch.
It's quite treacherous.
Nina's a very attentive sister.
She made sure Meen was stepping onto the right rocks.
But she somehow left Meen alone and she fell down on those rocks and cut her shin.
She started to cry.
Nina came to her rescue while Asha was attempting her last bending.
I guessed the water wasn't cooperating.
Walking back towards the car and very miserable.
Bruises throughout the length of the foot.
It's time to leave.
A close-up to make sure she's okay.
I can vouch that the food was DELICIOUS there!!! Nuff said!
